Heyyyyy!! Today was a happy day, yayy!
As you probably know by now, I just went ice skating~ It was so much fun! ♥ thank you mummy~~ ♥♥
Even though this is not the first time i've been to the ice arena, but because i haven't been there for so long, i had to start all over again to get the hang of it!! TT
JOEY = VERY BEGINNER........ TT sad. but it was the perfect day to go ice skating because it was so hot today lahh!! and it's so cold inside~~ 8D /lovelove
so this is what the arena has: Two ice rinks (one big one for beginners like me who need the supporting frame TT, and one even bigger one for the pros and anyone else who wants to try without the frame), a place where you can rent the skates, a canteen and a place to eat. =] ..... and toilets.
And while i was there, I saw this kid who was like, i dunno, 10? 11? and HE WAS SO PRO, MAN!! I repeat, HE WAS SOOOOO PRO!!! It was like he grew up in the ice arena, HE WAS THAT GOOD! Even better than most of the adults who were there! and they were really good too!! *jealous jealous!* :OO He skates sooooo fast! he didn't even fall down once! and he had a little sister who looked about 5 or 6 years old, and SHE was also very good!?! WTF??! *silent scream!* but the people who worked there knew them, so maybe they gave him private lessons or something. ^^ luckkyy~
i think i just fell in love with a little kid. ♥ lol. but you would too, if you were there. xDD he looked so cool while he was skating around. Like ... like.. LIKE HE WAS FLYING ON FULL SPEED. ON ICE! :O imagine that. i wish i could've taken a video of him skating to show you guys >< ..so now i am very motivated to take ice skating classes lahh! Dx one day i shall be that good! hmmph!

and the man behind him works there, so he's also very pro lah.

this is the bigger rink for pros. Do you know why it's so shiny?
because they just 'shaved' it to make it very VERY smooth.
(i have tried before xD)
what are the cones for? you'll see soon..
the people who work there get to use the rink first.
to test it. and the kid is there too :DD
see? they are so fast i can't even take a clear photo while using
"high sensitivity" mode .. -.-"
then they have the sleds :DDD
for this race..
one person sits on it and the other push them around.
they have to go around the cones and the person who reaches
the starting line first wins like a voucher or something.
and when the arena is close to closing, they have like, i dunno
what they are called, disco lights? very pretty.
SO! What do you guys think? :D If you ever get the chance to come to adelaide, we'll go over there again!! :DDD it's so much fun~ ♥
